We’ve always working on new things. Back in 2008, it was strictly team rankings based final scores from games. Then we took the win probabilities and starting projecting tournaments like March Madness. Now, we’re applying our analytics to sport specific quantities like yards per passing attempt. With all these advances, our old About page just didn’t seem to apply anymore. And it also didn’t seem possible to cram all this stuff into the About page. Personally, I hate About pages that are 3,000 plus words. Just give me the shortest possible description of your site.
